We specialise in Structural Engineering, and are located in Despatch in the Eastern Cape. Our scope of work encompasses local, national and international clients.
Bisho Steel Construction Pty Ltd has 47 years experience in the Structural Engineering Design and Construction Industry. Our workshop boasts a capacity of 150 tons of structural steel per month. Our operations cover an area from George, Aliwal North, Mthatha and East London. We have worked throughout South Africa and abroad on specialised steel design and construction projects. We take pride in our active Local Community upliftment programme.

OUR HISTORY
Bisho Steel Construction is a family owned business, which is run by people who are passionate about the building industry.
In 1972 Mr Bakker Snr established Despatch Steel Construction. The name changed to Bisho Steel Construction in 1984. Mr Bakker Snr handed the reigns over to his children Cornelis Bakker and Lizette Smith in 2016, and together as a team they have continued to successfully run the company to date.
